CSS Certification Pte Ltd is the legal entity responsible for auditing and certification activities in accordance with the standards of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, BizSafe, ConSASS, and the Workplace Safety and Health Management System.

CSS Certification Pte Ltd, including its directors, staff, and subcontractors, fully recognizes the importance of impartiality in its auditing and certification processes. We are firmly committed to maintaining and demonstrating impartiality in all interactions with clients. Commercial, financial, or other external pressures will never be allowed to compromise this commitment.

To Ensure impartiality in decision-making:

• Certification decisions are made only after an independent review by a qualified and authorized management team member who was not involved in the audit.
• CSS does not offer management system consultancy services or internal audits to any client it certifies.
• CSS holds no ownership, financial interest, or influence in any consultancy or certification body providing management system consultancy services.
• All personnel involved with CSS must declare any past or present relationships that could result in a conflict of interest. Such disclosures are reviewed thoroughly, and no assignments are made until any conflicts are fully resolved.
• No staff or subcontractor will be assigned to an audit if a prior relationship with the client exists. Exceptions may only be made at the Director’s discretion, and only if the relationship ended at least 2 years prior.
• CSS does not offer commissions, finder’s fees, or any inducements in exchange for client referrals.
• CSS maintains strict separation from any management system consultancy activities and will take immediate action to sever any inappropriate associations that may arise.
• Auditors and all individuals involved in the certification process are, and will remain, free from any pressure or influence that could affect the objectivity and outcome of the audit.

CSS Impartiality and Ethical Norms:

CSS Certification Pte Ltd is committed to upholding the highest standards of impartiality, integrity, and transparency in all certification activities. The following principles guide our operations:

• Full compliance with the requirements and policies of all relevant accreditation bodies.
• No referral fees shall be paid to any consultancy organization.
• All communication with clients and consultancy organizations shall be factual and unbiased.
• CSS shall not provide any services that conflict with its core business of certification.
• CSS shall not employ professionals whose affiliations or conduct conflict with the company’s ethical standards.
• Auditors who have previously worked with a client shall not be assigned to audit that client for a minimum period of 2 years following the end of their professional relationship.
• Auditors shall not promote or market CSS services to clients they are assigned to audit.
• Auditors shall not engage in any financial transactions with clients or consultants.
• Auditors shall not accept gifts, favors, or any form of inducement from clients or consultants.
• No confidential client information shall be disclosed to any third party without prior written consent from the client and approval from the Director.
• CSS shall not engage in business with any consultant or party that exerts undue pressure to compromise impartiality.
• All CSS employees must disclose any situation that may impair their ability to act ethically and objectively.
• Auditors shall only conduct audits for which they have been formally approved by client.
• CSS shall maintain full transparency in all operational and decision-making processes.
• All auditors, staff, and subcontractors are bound by the Secrecy and Non-Disclosure Agreement signed at the commencement of their engagement.
• CSS shall ensure that it is not subject to any unacceptable threat to impartiality or conflict of interest.
• Any violation of this policy will result in disciplinary action as determined by Management.
