The basic conditions for acquiring and retaining certification with CSS Certification Pte Ltd <\/strong>are that the applicant company agrees to, and complies with, the following procedures and rules:<\/p>

  • The audited company shall be made available all information deemed necessary by CSS Certification Pte Ltd, to complete the relevant audit program;<\/li>
  • Any Certification contract issued by CSS Certification Pte Ltd is governed by the laws of Singapore.<\/li>
  • CSS Certification Pte Ltd, if not satisfied that all the requirements for certification are being met, shall identify non \u2013 conformities and require the audited company to correct and take actions to prevent recurrence of said non \u2013 conformities.<\/li>
  • The registered company grants CSS Certification Pte Ltd permission to publicise their certification status.<\/li>
  • In the case of Major non \u2013 conformities, when the applicant company can demonstrate that actions have been taken to meet all the requirements, CSS Certification Pte Ltd will arrange to repeat only the necessary parts of an audit that cannot be verified by submission of documentary evidence;<\/li>
  • If CSS is unable to verify the implementation of correction and corrective actions for a major non \u2013 conformity within 6 months of the date of the stage 2 audit, then CSS is obliged by accreditation rules to repeat the stage 2 audit prior to certification<\/li>
  • If the applicant company fails to take corrective action within the specified time limit, it may be necessary for CSS Certification Pte Ltd, at extra cost to the applicant company, to repeat the audit in full;<\/li>
  • Identification of conformity shall refer only to the site or sites audited and shall only apply to the worded scope appearing on the certificate;<\/li>
  • Fees must be paid within the time scales stated on the quotation. Certificates will not be issued, until relevant fees have been paid in full;<\/li>
  • For a registered company to demonstrate effective management reviews and internal audits these activities shall be carried at least once per year by the registered company;<\/li>
  • Failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions may result in legal action being taken against the company;<\/li>
  • The registered company must allow CSS Certification Pte Ltd to conduct on \u2013 going surveillance audits in line with the planned arrangements stated in the proposal;<\/li>
  • Certified clients must only use the certification marks in accordance with the CSS Certification Pte Ltd rules for use of certification marks;<\/li>
  • Certified clients must inform CSS Certification Pte Ltd within 7 days of notification of prosecution by a regulator within the scope of registration.<\/li>
  • An audit day consists of 8 hours of audit activity<\/li>
  • A cancellation fee may be charged for visits booked and confirmed in writing that are cancelled or postponed by the registered client within 2 weeks of the booked date CSS Certification Pte Ltd is responsible for, and will retain authority for, decisions relating to accredited certification, including the granting, maintaining, renewing, extending, reducing, suspending and withdrawing of certification<\/li>
  • Confidentiality: to not disclose the other\u2019s Confidential Information to any person or entity without the prior written approval of the other party except as expressly provided for herein.<\/li>
  • Initial: Audit Conformity assessment audits are based on sampling within a Management System and are therefore not a guarantee of 100% conformity with standard requirements.<\/li>
  • Fees: Fees are detailed in the quotation submitted to the applicant. All costs are based on the charge rate applicable at the time of quotation and CSS Certification Pte Ltd reserve the right to increase charges during the certification period.<\/li>
  • Changes: The company shall inform CSS Certification Pte Ltd in writing and without delay of any intended changes relating to scope, Organization, Address.ext\u2026<\/li>
  • Certification Decision: When the responsible decision makers of CSS Certification Pte Ltd are confident that the company meets all the requirements for certification.<\/li>
  • Surveillance: Periodic surveillance visits shall be carried out (Yearly Basis) to confirm that the certified management system has continued to fulfil requirements between recertification audits.<\/li>
  • Renewal of Registration: Regardless of the frequency of the Surveillance routine, a certification cycles runs for a three-year period from the date of the certificate decision with a full re-audit to be completed within 3 years of the last date of the stage 2 audit, and every 3 years thereafter.<\/li>
  • Extension\/Reduction of Certificate Scope: Extending the scope of registration, to cover new products\/processes\/locations requires registered companies to complete and return a new application for quotation.<\/li>
  • Misuse of Certificates: CSS Certification Pte Ltd take all reasonable precautions to control the use of the certificates issued. Incorrect references to the scope of certificates or incorrect use of the certificate shall be dealt with by suitable actions, which could include suspension or withdrawal of certificates, legal action and\/or publication of the transgression.<\/li>
  • Suspension of a certificate: A certificate may be suspended for a limited time in cases of:<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
    \n\t\t\t\t
    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
    1. Widespread failure by a registered company to effectively implement Management System requirements<\/li>
    2. Failure to permit CSS Certification Pte Ltd to conduct re-certification or surveillance audits at the required frequencies<\/li>
    3. Failure to accept the presence of accreditation body auditors attending an audit to be conducted by CSS Certification Pte Ltd.<\/li>
    4. Failure to notify CSS Certification Pte Ltd of significant changes to the registered company<\/li>
    5. Misuse of certification marks<\/li>
    6. Misrepresentation\/misuse of the certificate.<\/li>
    7. Falsification and\/or fabrication of records of implementation<\/li>
    8. Failure to respond to Corrective Action Requests within 30 days of the date of issue \u2022 Non-payment of certification fees owed to CSS Certification Pte Ltd<\/li>
    9. Expiry of a certificate after the 3-year registration period has elapsed<\/li>
    10. Request from the client for voluntary suspension<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
      \n\t\t\t\t

      • Withdrawal of Certificate: A certificate may only be withdrawn if the company does not meet required conditions raised on suspension of certificate<\/li>
      • Cancellation of Certificate: A certificate may be cancelled if:<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
        \n\t\t\t\t

        1. The company does not wish to renew the certificate<\/li>
        2. The company goes out of business.<\/li>
        3. The company does not respond to correspondence from CSS Certification Pte Ltd.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
          \n\t\t\t\t
          \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
          • Appeals: In the event of certificate withdrawal or if a client company does not accept a non-conformity or non- recommendation for registration, the company has the right of appeal.<\/li>
          • Complaints & Feedback: Should a client company have any reason to complain regarding the conduct of CSS Certification Pte Ltd employees, then the complaint should be made in writing to CSS Certification Pte Ltd.<\/li>
          • Accreditation Body Visits: CSS Certification Pte Ltd clients shall, where an accreditation body so nominates a need to, accept the presence of officers of the Accreditation Body attending an audit to be conducted by CSS Certification Pte Ltd.<\/li>
          • Limitation of Liability and Indemnity: CSS Certification Pte Ltd undertakes to exercise due care and skill in the performance of the Services and accepts responsibility only in cases of proven negligence.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

            1. Any loss, damage or expense arising from (i) a failure by Client to comply with any of its obligations herein report to CSS Certification Pte Ltd.<\/li>
            2. Loss of profits, loss of production, loss of business or costs incurred from business interruption.<\/li>
            3. Any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind (whether or not falling within the types of loss or damage identified.<\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
